Materials Scheduler & Planner (Automotive)

What you will do

• Plan supplier deliveries using SAP and maintain supplier and material information in plant systems.
• Monitor material pickups, deliveries, inventory levels, and cycle-count activities.
• Coordinate with plant personnel and suppliers to resolve delivery issues and improve on-time performance.
• Schedule parts and update daily customer delivery schedules while maintaining target efficiency.
• Support engineering changes, resourcing activities, new launches, and other change-management projects.
• Resolve receipt discrepancies, validate records through cycle counts, and execute expedites to meet customer requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least 7 years of relevant experience, or 4+ years of applicable experience in place of the degree.
• Required experience with MRP; SAP experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of planning and scheduling activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Effective communication, analytical, collaboration, learning, and adaptability skills.
• Flexibility to work an adjusted schedule as needed.

Nice to have

• At least three years of production or inventory control experience in a manufacturing environment.
