Focus on building improvement programs, steering KPI reviews, coaching teams in Lean and Six Sigma, and implementing sustainable cost-reduction initiatives.

Location: Pennsville, New Jersey, United States

Salary: $140,000–$175,000 per year, plus a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

  • Define and deploy the site Operational Excellence strategy in alignment with site and global priorities.
  • Translate strategic objectives into structured improvement programs, roadmaps, and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Manage the OPEX project portfolio from idea generation through implementation and sustainability.
  • Define and monitor KPIs covering safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and lead performance review routines.
  • Lead value stream mapping, root-cause problem solving, debottlenecking, OEE improvement, and cost-reduction initiatives.
  • Train and coach employees and leaders in Lean, Six Sigma, and structured problem-solving methods.

Requirements

  • Degree in engineering, science, or a related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or operations, continuous improvement, and/or consulting.
  • Track record with Lean production systems such as TPS, IWS, or WCM.
  • Strong Lean and Six Sigma expertise, analytical thinking, and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Strong project and program management, leadership, coaching, change management, and influencing skills in a matrix organization.
  • Experience with regulated manufacturing environments, SHE, and cGMP requirements is advantageous; SAP, Minitab, CMMS, and practical Lean tools may also be relevant.
