VP, Operations and Continuous Improvement (Manufacturing)

Salary: $180,000–$300,000 per year, plus bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Develop and execute a company-wide operational performance improvement program.
• Build dashboards and KPI governance for cost, labor efficiency, machine utilization, capacity, throughput, quality, downtime, and productivity.
• Lead engineers in designing, testing, implementing, and scaling process, equipment, workflow, and automation improvements.
• Engage operators, technicians, and supervisors through structured idea systems, experimentation, recognition, and gain-sharing programs.
• Apply AI, analytics, predictive insights, automation, and digital tools to quality, maintenance, scheduling, capacity, and root-cause analysis.
• Lead engineering, maintenance, reliability, and business analyst teams while partnering with operations, finance, plant leadership, HR, IT, and data teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, industrial engineering, operations management, manufacturing, business, data analytics, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in operations, manufacturing, engineering, continuous improvement, or transformation.
• Experience leading engineers, continuous improvement, process, reliability, maintenance, or business analyst teams in a plant environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, root cause analysis, standard work, value stream mapping, and structured problem solving.
• Experience creating KPI dashboards, implementing measurable improvements, and validating savings, ROI, payback, and cost avoidance with finance.
• Ability to work at the Edgewood, NY location; strong communication, facilitation, project management, and change management skills.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree or MBA and Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing, fulfillment, print/mail, packaging, logistics, or similar operations.
• Experience with ERP, manufacturing execution, analytics, maintenance, CMMS, or shop-floor systems.
• Experience applying AI, machine learning, predictive analytics, automation, TPM, or preventive maintenance to operational improvement.
• Experience designing employee idea, recognition, or gain-sharing programs tied to measurable results.
