Working Foreman, Communication and Control

Location: Hooksett, NH, United States; travel between Massachusetts, Connecticut, and New Hampshire is required as necessary.

Salary: $62.87 per hour plus incentive

What you will do

• Direct personnel and perform system-wide technical assignments involving the installation, acceptance testing, maintenance, and repair of protective relay systems.
• Work with IEDs, electromechanical and solid-state relays, power line carrier, DTT, SCADA, IEC 61850 systems, HMIs, DFRs, and PLCs.
• Plan, schedule, review, and evaluate work while ensuring safe and timely completion.
• Train and instruct department employees and supervise assigned personnel.
• Analyze operational methods, improve procedures, and make decisions based on technical information.
• Collaborate with employees, management, interfacing departments, and vendors.

Requirements

• Thorough knowledge of testing and troubleshooting methods for protection and control systems and equipment.
• Knowledge of protection-system operation, maintenance, software applications, and supporting test equipment.
• Associate degree in Electronic or Engineering Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of related experience.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Must be available for emergency restoration assignments and travel between MA, CT, and NH.
