Boring Rig Foreman (HDD)

Location: Customer premises and construction job sites across the U.S.; weekly overnight, out-of-area, and extended travel may be required. Must be willing to travel for storm recovery and emergency utility repair or replacement.

What you will do

• Oversee and carry out boring and horizontal directional drilling projects according to design, budget, and schedule.
• Schedule crews, delegate duties, coordinate daily activities, and ensure project completion.
• Operate drilling and HDD locating equipment and make field adjustments as project conditions change.
• Read blueprints, technical manuals, work orders, system maps, diagrams, and specification books.
• Train crew members and provide guidance on safe and effective work practices.
• Complete job documentation and support pre-job and post-job hazard analysis meetings.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a boring crew foreman.
• Valid CDL-A license with a clear driving record.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge of HDD practices, applications, locating equipment, drilling fluids, and mixing procedures.
• Planning, delegation, mathematical, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to understand and use spoken and written English is required.

Nice to have

• 2 or more years of experience as a boring crew foreman.
• Technical training in HDD drilling fluid products.
