Business Analyst (Enterprise Data Management)

Location: New York, NY; hybrid schedule with a mandatory minimum of two days in the New York office per week.

Salary: $120,000–$170,000 per year, plus discretionary bonus and benefits.

hirify.global is hiring for its User Success and Enablement team within Enterprise Data Management.

What you will do

• Gather requirements from Portfolio Management, Risk, Client Reporting, Marketing, Operations, and other enterprise stakeholders.
• Translate business needs and user feedback into technical requirements, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate end-to-end delivery of platform requests, including prioritization, planning, testing, and releases.
• Analyze data across architecture, ingestion, transformation, storage, and downstream distribution layers.
• Troubleshoot complex data issues and communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Improve platform adoption, governance, discoverability, trust, and reuse through data-driven roadmap decisions.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product management, or data platform management.
• Strong SQL proficiency and hands-on experience querying, analyzing, and troubleshooting data.
• Experience translating ambiguous business needs into structured requirements and documented deliverables.
• Financial services experience, preferably in asset management or wealth management.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to align technical and non-technical stakeholders without direct authority.
• Experience mentoring junior analysts or leading workstreams within larger initiatives.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake, Azure Synapse, Oracle, or equivalent cloud and enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in Agile environments and familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Exposure to data quality tools or master data domains such as client, security, issuer, or legal entity data.
• Experience influencing product or platform roadmap decisions in a data-driven organization.
