Location: Hybrid in Hanover, Maryland, United States

Salary: $120,000–$180,000 USD annually

What you will do

• Define technical vision, architecture, technical approaches, and project work plans.
• Lead, mentor, organize, and support a team of engineers while managing workloads and dependencies.
• Act as the primary technical contact for customers and stakeholders, communicating status and managing expectations.
• Drive project execution through Agile practices, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
• Contribute hands-on through coding, system configuration, infrastructure design, and implementation of core system components.
• Maintain standards for code quality, performance, security, scalability, and maintainability while resolving complex technical issues.

Requirements

• Active Secret security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in software development, systems engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in technical leadership or team lead roles, including project management and mentoring.
• Hands-on proficiency with modern programming languages and technologies such as Python, Java, Go, C#, Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native services.
• CompTIA Security+ and any recognized AWS certification, plus strong Agile, communication, and customer-facing skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud, CI/CD pipelines, DevOps, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Additional certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Certified ScrumMaster, or PMP.
• Experience in the Department of Defense or national security sectors.
• Experience with Tableau or Qlik data visualization tools.
