Higher Headquarters Assessment Multi-Discipline Army Protection Program SME (Army Protection Programs): Conducting assessments of U.S. Army installation protection programs across multiple disciplines, including antiterrorism, physical security, emergency management, and cybersecurity, with an accent on compliance, readiness, and risk evaluation. Focus on inspecting installations, coaching staff, analyzing corrective action plans, and producing formal reports that identify trends and actionable improvements.

Location: Remote approximately 75% of the time, with approximately 25% travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations

What you will do

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of U.S. Army installation Protection Programs against DoD, Department of the Army, COCOM, Service Component, and IMCOM requirements.
  • Evaluate Antiterrorism, Physical Security, Emergency Management, CBRNE, COOP, Cybersecurity, Law Enforcement, OPSEC, and supporting infrastructure.
  • Review installation documents and coordinate with garrison staff before assessment visits.
  • Interview personnel, inspect facilities, review documentation, and observe implementation of required standards.
  • Coach installation staff and provide structured feedback before, during, and after assessments.
  • Prepare After-Action Reports, trend reports, lessons-learned products, HHA documentation, and Corrective Action Plan analyses.

Requirements

  • Active SECRET security clearance is required.
  • At least five years of inspection or assessment experience involving Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, or Navy protection programs.
  • Ability to travel to CONUS and OCONUS locations.
  • Subject-matter expertise in at least two Army Protection Program disciplines is required.
  • Relevant discipline-specific experience and certifications, including AT Level II, Conventional Physical Security, formal law-enforcement or investigative training, ICS 300/400, CBRN/CBRNE/WMD or HAZMAT response training, FEMA coursework, or DoD Counterintelligence certification, as applicable.
