Water/Wastewater EIT/Designer

Location: Kalispell, Billings, Helena, or Missoula, Montana, United States

Salary: $70,000–$87,000 per year

What you will do

• Design water and wastewater treatment, distribution, and collection systems under the direction of a Project Engineer.
• Prepare plans, specifications, analysis, and study-level reports.
• Determine design methods, equipment sizing, and equipment selection.
• Work directly with project owners and collaborate in a team environment.
• Conduct quality control reviews of completed designs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Interest or experience in designing water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Commitment to active participation in an employee-owned culture.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate.
• Candidates without an EIT may be placed in a Designer position and expected to obtain the certificate for career progression.
