Salary: $110,000–$140,000 per year, depending on qualifications, skills, competencies, and experience.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage water and wastewater projects from conception through completion, meeting scope, budget, and schedule requirements.
  • Define project objectives, requirements, and technical specifications with clients, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Perform engineering analyses, feasibility studies, and detailed designs for water and wastewater systems.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, plans, specifications, and other project deliverables.
  • Navigate permitting processes, regulatory compliance, site assessments, and construction-phase technical support.
  • Manage construction activities, documentation, design modifications, and emerging project issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in civil or environmental engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license in Colorado, or the ability to obtain it within six months.
  • Approximately 10 or more years of experience managing water and wastewater engineering projects.
  • Proficiency with industry-standard software for hydraulic modeling, CAD design, and project management.
  • Strong knowledge of water treatment, water distribution, wastewater collection, and treatment processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication, team leadership, multitasking, and concurrent project management skills.
