Water/Wastewater EIT/Coordinator

Location: Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; Dallas, Texas; or Fort Worth, Texas, United States. Local candidates are preferred, and the role includes field investigations, site visits, and construction observation.

What you will do

• Support planning-level, preliminary, and detailed designs for water, wastewater, and stormwater pump facilities.
• Prepare plans, specifications, analyses, and study-level reports for treatment, distribution, and collection systems.
• Determine design methods, equipment sizing, and equipment selection under the direction of the Project Engineer.
• Support condition assessments and rehabilitation planning for existing pump station infrastructure.
• Perform field investigations, site visits, and construction observation to verify compliance with design documents.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and conduct quality control reviews of completed deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or an equivalent field.
• Interest or experience in designing water and wastewater treatment facilities.
• Experience with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate or ability to obtain one; candidates without an EIT may enter under the Design Coordinator job code and are expected to obtain the certificate for career progression.

Nice to have

• Master’s degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with water, wastewater, or water resources projects, especially treatment, pump stations, pipelines, or stormwater.
