Professional Engineer (Civil Engineering)

Salary: $75,000–$120,000 per year

What you will do

• Perform and verify calculations for storm-water management, potable water distribution, and sanitary sewer systems.
• Design land development infrastructure, including roadways, water, sewer, and drainage systems.
• Prepare project specifications, drawings, permits, cost estimates, and technical documents.
• Process permits and certification closeouts through applicable agencies.
• Review, correct, and approve shop drawings and material specifications.
• Collaborate with clients, engineers, CAD drafters, and other disciplines; participate in meetings and provide construction inspection services.

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering or an equivalent degree from an ABET-accredited university.
• 5+ years of civil engineering experience in land development.
• Florida Professional Engineer License required.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D, Microsoft Project, Excel, and standard Microsoft Office applications.

Nice to have

• Experience with I.C.P.R.
• Experience with A.S.A.D.
