CNC Machinist (Mill or Lathe)

Location: Elyria, Ohio, United States; onsite, 2nd shift from 3:00pm to 11:30pm

Salary: $36.58–$37.55 per hour, plus eligibility for a $1,000 bonus

Crane Aerospace & Electronics supplies critical systems and components for aerospace and defense applications, including pumping and thermal management systems.

What you will do

• Process rough material through machining and related operations in a team-oriented manufacturing cell.
• Set up and operate CNC machines, manual mills, drills, and other equipment; use gauges and measuring devices to verify parts.
• Inspect, deburr, finish, clean, assemble, and package parts according to blueprints, manufacturing outlines, and quality standards.
• Perform rework, secondary operations, routine maintenance, safety checks, and material handling across rotating workstations.
• Maintain inventory, charts, records, inspection documentation, job routers, non-conformance reports, and other production paperwork.
• Collaborate with customers and suppliers and participate in continuous improvement activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Previous CNC machining and milling experience.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, detail sheets, manufacturing outlines, and written instructions.
• Working knowledge of fixtures, cutting tools, CNC controls and machines, and selecting and dressing wheels for finish requirements.
• Access to controlled data may be required; only US Persons will be considered where ITAR access applies.
