CNC Operator Level 3 - 3rd Shift

Location: Columbia, Pennsylvania — plant, onsite, third shift

Salary: $36.93 per hour

What you will do

• Operate CNC mills and lathes and perform Level 1 and Level 2 CNC responsibilities.
• Set up equipment using blueprints, engineering plans, material specifications, reference planes, and surface locations.
• Configure CNC machines, enter programs and offsets, set reference points, and prove out part programs.
• Load workpieces, verify machine settings, measure first-run and sample parts, and maintain part specifications.
• Change, sharpen, and replace tooling; monitor tool wear; troubleshoot processes; and perform basic coolant and oil service checks.
• Meet cycle-time, quantity, and quality targets while supporting new-product setup and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of M and G codes.
• Demonstrated mechanical ability and basic math skills.
• Ability to read and follow written policies, procedures, blueprints, and engineering specifications.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, communicate verbally and in writing, and guide lower-level CNC associates.
• Availability for weekend and overtime assignments as required.
