Machinist (CNC and Manual Machining)

Location: Onsite manufacturing facility; second shift, 3:30 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

Salary: $26.00–$28.00 per hour, plus a $2.00 per hour shift differential

What you will do

• Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, GD&T specifications, and job orders.
• Set up and operate CNC mills, lathes, and manual machining equipment.
• Select tooling, fixtures, speeds, and feeds, and adjust machine settings during production.
• Perform secondary machining, finishing, material handling, and required forklift operations.
• Inspect first-piece, in-process, and final parts using precision measurement tools.
• Work with engineering, production, and quality teams to resolve machining issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• Technical certificate, associate’s degree, or equivalent experience in machining or manufacturing technology.
• At least two years of machining experience, including CNC setup and operation.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, blueprints, and GD&T specifications.
• Experience using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and other precision inspection tools.
• Forklift operation is required; certification is preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, perform repetitive motions, and lift or move materials up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Experience operating manual lathes, mills, and drill presses.
• Forklift certification.
