Manufacturing Engineering Technician-2nd Shift (Marine Manufacturing)

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $54,300–$75,400 annually, plus eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.

What you will do

• Provide technical support to assembly operators and production operations.
• Act as a first responder for process and production equipment issues to minimize downtime and maintain output.
• Review production schedules, engineering specifications, process flows, and manufacturing methods.
• Apply Lean Six Sigma tools to improve processes and support safety and ergonomic initiatives.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Production, Quality, and Maintenance teams.
• Update process documentation, provide cross-shift communication, and assist with onboarding assembly team members.

Requirements

• High school education.
• 3–5 years of relevant work experience.
• PC skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong written and verbal communication, problem-solving, prioritization, adaptability, and dependability.
• Ability to communicate with employees across different functions and organizational levels.
• Quality-focused approach and willingness to communicate product quality concerns.

Nice to have

• Two-year technical degree in Process Engineering or a related manufacturing field.
• Basic understanding of engine assembly processes.
• Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt certification.
• Ability to work independently and deliver results within deadlines.
