Process Technician II - 2nd Shift (Manufacturing)

Location: Zeeland, Michigan, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

What you will do

• Monitor and adjust equipment and process controls, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain detailed downtime records and track operational metrics to propose improvements.
• Lead or co-lead continuous improvement initiatives and develop SOPs, documentation, and preventive maintenance strategies.
• Support engineering staff with new manufacturing processes and products.
• Troubleshoot existing equipment with internal teams and external vendors.
• Mentor hourly Technicians and promote safe, high-quality operations.

Requirements

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, a technical field, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• Advanced troubleshooting skills and mechanical/electrical aptitude.
• Excellent project management, analytical, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and the ability to learn new software platforms.
• Availability to work overtime as needed and ability to stand and maneuver around equipment.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required.

Nice to have

• 2–4 years of related manufacturing support experience.
• Experience with PLCs, SolidWorks or other CAD software, and manufacturing software platforms.
• Additional technical schooling or training, leadership skills, and knowledge of statistics and data analysis.
