Manufacturing Engineering Technician - 2nd Shift

Location: Anoka, Minnesota, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Compensation: $20.40–$37.80 per hour

What you will do

• Troubleshoot manufacturing equipment and support daily production through testing and product validation.
• Assist with layout planning, installation, and testing of automated and semi-automated equipment.
• Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement projects, including safety improvements.
• Work with vendors and suppliers to procure and install tooling, fixtures, and equipment.
• Create process documentation, work instructions, cost estimates, and maintain standard drawings and specifications.
• Support product improvements, new product launches, and development through the PDP process.

Requirements

• High school diploma, AA/AS degree, or other two-year post-secondary training.
• Two years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Office, MRP systems, SolidWorks, and related computer programs.
• Ability to process engineering change orders involving bills of material and product routings.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability, Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and product costing.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate cross-functionally, take initiative, and adapt to a fast-paced production environment.
