Machinist Tech - 2nd Shift

Location: Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, United States; onsite, 2nd shift

Salary: $27.68 per hour

What you will do

• Perform machining operations on parts and materials using manual and computer-assisted equipment.
• Set up, adjust, and change over machining equipment, including basic program edits when applicable.
• Read blueprints, process sheets, work instructions, and material movement documents.
• Perform in-process inspections, record production and quality data, and address out-of-tolerance conditions.
• Coordinate materials, perform routine preventive maintenance, and support uninterrupted production.
• Follow safety requirements and maintain a clean, organized 5S work area.

Requirements

• Experience operating machining equipment in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand blueprints and manufacturing documentation.
• Basic knowledge of quality inspection methods and measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
• Ability to work onsite in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, and perform standing, walking, bending, repetitive tasks, and material handling throughout the shift.
• Authorization to work in the United States is required; hirify.global participates in E-Verify.

Nice to have

• CNC setup and changeover experience.
• Experience editing programs or offsets.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement practices.
