Machine Operator - 1st Shift

Location: Bow, New Hampshire, United States; full-time onsite work on a manufacturing floor.

What you will do

• Operate, clean, monitor, and adjust automated machinery to produce TBI beams in various sizes.
• Set up, calibrate, and perform routine checks and minor adjustments on machine components.
• Inspect finished products for dimensional accuracy and quality compliance, identifying defective parts promptly.
• Troubleshoot minor mechanical or technical issues and take corrective action.
• Maintain production logs, documentation, a clean workspace, and minimal waste.
• Collaborate with maintenance and quality teams and cross-train on machine operation duties.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification is preferred.
• 2–4 years of experience operating machinery or working in a manufacturing environment.
• Forklift and Raymond certification.
• Basic mechanical, troubleshooting, measurement, and mechanical-tool skills, including caliper use.
• Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, work instructions, and technical specifications.
• Ability to stand for up to 8 hours, occasionally lift up to 50 pounds, and work around machinery noise and moving parts while using required PPE.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with automated systems and controls.
• Knowledge of safety standards, quality control processes, and lean manufacturing principles.
