Healthcare Consulting Manager - Supply Chain

Location: Chicago, United States. Travel based on client, enterprise, or project needs is required, averaging less than 50% annually. US work authorization required.

Base salary: $145,000–$185,000 annually. Estimated total compensation, including annual incentive compensation: $166,750–$231,250.

What you will do

• Lead initiatives to streamline procurement, inventory management, and distribution of medical supplies and equipment.
• Use data analytics to identify trends, forecast demand, reduce costs, and improve supply chain efficiency.
• Manage complex multi-workstream performance improvement projects and concurrent client engagements.
• Set project direction, develop deliverables, escalate risks, and influence client and internal senior leadership.
• Collaborate with clients and colleagues to adapt implementation approaches and deliver measurable organizational change.
• Lead, mentor, train, supervise, and provide performance feedback to junior staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree.
• 6–8 years of consulting and/or healthcare operations experience.
• Experience managing complex projects, workplans, teams, and direct supervision responsibilities.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, organizational, planning, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to train staff in project management and technical capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel; US work authorization required.

Nice to have

• Hospital operations experience focused on process re-engineering, performance improvement, and change management.
• Consulting experience in cost of care, workforce management, or supply chain services.
• Experience with cost and expense management, post-acute care settings, clinical leadership, care delivery redesign, workforce planning, or digital strategies.
• Experience working in a matrixed organization.
