Healthcare Management Consultant

Location: California, United States

Compensation: $158K–$235K annually plus a benefits package.

What you will do

• Conduct operational assessments across health plan administration, ambulatory and acute care, revenue cycle, project management offices, and information technology.
• Lead discovery and planning for healthcare facilities projects, including market analysis, business cases, campus plans, moves, and demand and capacity models.
• Develop program management functions supporting compliance with CMS and ONC interoperability and patient access requirements.
• Help health plans redesign specialty pharmacy operating models, prescription drug ecosystems, supply chains, and care delivery.
• Develop strategies and roadmaps to improve access to care and expand the healthcare workforce serving underserved and Medi-Cal populations.
• Lead process improvement and accounts receivable initiatives for medical centers and health plan partners.

Requirements

• 8+ years of management consulting experience.
• 8+ years of healthcare management experience across multiple areas, such as care delivery, health plan operations, regulatory compliance, quality management, finance, facilities, technology, or analytics.
• Strong analytical, strategic, communication, facilitation, presentation, storytelling, and consensus-building skills.
• Ability to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to a high standard while working independently or collaboratively.
• Experience working with stakeholders at all organizational levels, with strong self-motivation, integrity, and versatility.
• Bachelor’s degree required.

• Master’s degree.
• PMP, Scaled Agile, or Lean Six Sigma certification.
