Business Performance Improvement - Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Senior Consultant (Supply Chain)

Location: Hybrid in Chicago, Illinois, or Houston, Texas, with in-person work in local offices, client-site work, and local or out-of-state travel as required by projects. hirify.global is not registered to hire or employ personnel in West Virginia or Alaska.

Salary: $92,000–$138,000 annually, plus a 10% bonus target. Estimated total cash: $101,200–$151,800.

What you will do

• Facilitate the completion of supply chain and procurement project work plans.
• Identify risks and opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
• Support project scoping, staffing, deliverable preparation, and methodology application.
• Design and implement digital supply chain solutions and technologies.
• Build client relationships and communicate supply chain topics and recommendations to executives.
• Mentor, train, supervise, and coordinate Interns, Consultants, and engagement teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or a related discipline.
• 2+ years of experience in Supply Chain, Operations, Consulting, or a related field.
• Experience with strategic sourcing, procurement, contract management, supplier management, and accounts payable.
• Experience with process improvement, business transformation, project management, financial modeling, and business case management.
• Ability to evaluate and interpret data, document findings, and summarize recommendations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; secondary experience with Visio, Access, Tableau, or Power BI is useful.

Nice to have

• CPM, CPSM, CSCP, CPIM, PMP, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma, or Certified Scrum Professional certification.
