Principal Corporate Strategy Consultant (Healthcare)

Location: Chicago, Illinois, United States; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote.

Base pay: $112,200–$202,600 annually, plus eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.

What you will do

• Support corporate strategy development, planning, implementation, and transformation initiatives.
• Deliver market research, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and actionable insights for leadership.
• Develop recommendations and prioritize growth and transformation opportunities.
• Support initiatives to improve product and service affordability.
• Drive operating model transformation enabled by technology across clinical areas.
• Manage complex projects and collaborate with Healthcare Management leaders across a matrixed organization.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, or MBA with 7 years of general industry experience, or 3 years of consulting experience at a top-tier consulting firm.
• Experience with corporate strategy or transformation, including formulating, planning, or implementing strategic initiatives.
• Strong quantitative and qualitative analysis, insight generation, critical thinking, and complex problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing complex projects and working directly with leadership.
• Strong verbal, written, and visual communication skills.
• Must be able to work in the Chicago office 3 days per week; candidates requiring current or future employment-based visa sponsorship are not eligible.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree such as an MBA, MHA, MD, JD, or PhD.
• Healthcare industry experience, especially in health insurance.
• Experience with growth, product, technology enablement, business case development, clinical operations strategy, financial planning, or technology transformation.
