C Shift DC Maintenance Technician III

Location: US - IN US8 Midwest Distribution Center; onsite, Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM–10:30 PM

Salary: $27.74–$32.26 per hour

What you will do

• Perform facility maintenance, including wall and floor repairs, lighting replacement, rack repairs, furniture moves, and related tasks.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on conveyor equipment and distribution-center systems.
• Diagnose controls, process controllers, control cabinets, power supplies, field devices, and automatic identification systems.
• Use maintenance and conveyor system software to troubleshoot, trend, monitor, and document equipment performance.
• Record labor, parts, inventory, test results, and work-order details in the computerized maintenance management system.
• Manage minor projects, develop reliability and productivity improvements, and train employees at lower grade levels.

Requirements

• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, schematics, mechanical and electrical drawings, and blueprints.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting experience, including work with AC/DC controls, high and low voltage, and systems up to 480 volts.
• Knowledge of PLC-controlled equipment, pneumatics, conveyor systems, control cabinets, and power supplies.
• Ability to follow lockout/tagout, confined-space, safety, and environmental procedures.
• Valid driver’s license and forklift certification.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word, with strong communication, leadership, project planning, and multitasking skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of OSHA compliance.
• Conversational Spanish skills.
• Expertise in at least one distribution system area, such as Pick Module, VAS, or Shipping Sorter.
