Manufacturing Technician III (T3) 1st Shift (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Austin, Texas, United States; onsite, 1st shift

Salary: $23.00–$31.40 per hour

What you will do

• Build, repair, and test electrical, electro-mechanical, vacuum, and pneumatic assemblies, subassemblies, and components.
• Use work orders, schematics, wiring diagrams, parts lists, and written instructions to complete equipment work.
• Perform electro-mechanical assembly, troubleshooting, repairs, and process improvements under moderate supervision.
• Receive and audit parts, verify availability, and inspect components for defects.
• Use test fixtures, electronic measurement equipment, leak detectors, and vacuum pumps to test assemblies.
• Complete job documentation and perform computer programming, software installation, or equipment repairs when needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• 1–2 years of semiconductor or display experience, or comparable industry or military experience.
• Ability to follow standard operating procedures, both written and verbal.
• Knowledge of basic hand tools.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom and use required personal protective equipment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, work in tight spaces, distinguish colors, and operate hand or power tools and forklifts.

Nice to have

• Associate’s degree, technical education, certifications, or relevant training.
• ASSEET or BSEET qualification, including DeVry or TSTC training.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills using established procedures or scientific methods.
