Manufacturing Technician - Wafer Fabrication

Location: Lowell, Massachusetts, United States; fully onsite with no remote work option. Scheduled hours are Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM.

Hourly pay: $22.50–$35.00 per hour, depending on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Perform wafer fabrication processes for semiconductor device production in a cleanroom.
• Operate wafer fabrication equipment according to written procedures, process specifications, and safety guidelines.
• Record operational data accurately in logs, forms, and digital systems.
• Diagnose process discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to prevent defects.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to communicate findings, escalate complex problems, and maintain process stability.
• Follow safety, quality, and productivity standards while handling manufacturing processes.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 3–5 years of experience in wafer fabrication or a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing processes, safety protocols, quality control requirements, and OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work onsite in Lowell, Massachusetts, during the scheduled work hours.
• Must provide proof of US citizenship, permanent US residency, or protected-individual status under 8 USC 1324b(a)(3) due to US export control requirements.
• Ability to work independently, maintain productivity and quality standards, and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of diffusion, photolithography, and wet etch processes.
• Experience safely handling and disposing of acids, solvents, and other hazardous chemicals.
