Manufacturing Operator 3 (Semiconductor)

Location: Livermore, California; on-site full-time role. Regular schedule: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, and every other Wednesday, 6:00 a.m.–6:15 p.m.

Salary: $22.10–$29.03 per hour, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Perform assembly, testing, inspection, calibration, and intermediate-level troubleshooting of manufacturing equipment and materials.
• Set up, calibrate, operate, and maintain equipment, including preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and adjustments.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret operating and inspection data; make approved process and equipment adjustments.
• Support tests, trials, design of experiments, and process validation with engineering teams.
• Identify recurring equipment issues, conduct initial root-cause analysis, and communicate process abnormalities.
• Mentor Manufacturing Operator I employees and help coordinate workflow, materials, tools, and equipment readiness.

Requirements

• 2–4 years of related experience.
• Ability to perform intermediate-level manufacturing tasks accurately and with minimal supervision.
• Experience or familiarity with electronics, semiconductor, or precision manufacturing.
• Mechanical aptitude and ability to use precision tools, gauges, microscopes, probes, and basic test equipment.
• Understanding of quality standards, documentation, safety protocols, and PPE requirements; ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Ability to stand, sit, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods and wear clean-room attire for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with SPC, basic data analysis, or quality-control tools.
• Experience mentoring or training team members.
• Experience with MEMS, probe cards, electrical testing, SMT soldering, blueprints, or cleanroom operations.
