Senior Financial Analyst, Manufacturing

Location: Springfield Plant, Springfield, Missouri, United States

Salary: $89,800–$112,200 per year, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Lead the Annual Operating Plan, including product cost standards, raw and packaging yields, master recipes, cost-change bridges, and supporting schedules.
• Manage weekly and monthly reporting of actual and forecasted costs for unit and plant manufacturing management.
• Analyze direct-expense variances and unit KPI performance, providing detailed explanations to plant leadership.
• Lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, SAP requirements, FAC review, and analysis of financial results.
• Identify process improvements, quantify savings from Continuous Improvement and Production teams, and maintain accurate operational BOMs.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, inventory controls, financial integrity, and transactional processes while supporting plant leadership and frontline teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• At least 2 years of related experience.
• Understanding of general accounting and cost accounting principles.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills with close attention to detail.
• High integrity and the ability to maintain a strong controls environment while managing changing priorities.
• Effective collaboration skills and proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; SAP and Hyperion experience is preferred.
