Sr. Global Service Center Equipment Engineer (Semiconductor Manufacturing)

Location: Livermore, California, United States; onsite day-shift position

Salary: $90,500–$118,755 per year, depending on experience, skills, and background.

What you will do

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, corrective actions, and reliability improvements for equipment used in Global Service Centers.
• Support installation, qualification, validation, upgrades, and operational readiness for supplier-provided equipment.
• Own technical support for hirify.global-developed tools, including the Probe Card Universal Repair Station, Sequoia Assembly Tool, Precision Assembly Tool, and Single Outlet Replacement Tool.
• Coordinate spare parts, equipment suppliers, capital equipment procurement, shipment, installation, deployment, and lifecycle tracking.
• Develop and deliver equipment operation, troubleshooting, safety, preventive maintenance, and Assembly & Test training.
• Conduct equipment audits and drive corrective actions, standardization, Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree with at least 2 years of related experience, an advanced degree without experience, or equivalent work experience.
• Experience with equipment maintenance, installations, qualification, troubleshooting, and planned preventive maintenance.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, computerized maintenance management systems, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work in a clean room environment and collaborate with Global Service Center teams, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, and equipment suppliers.
• Ability to support equipment documentation, technical work instructions, safety requirements, and regulatory compliance.
