Facilities Manager (Semiconductor Lab)

Salary: $110,500–$152,000 per year

What you will do

• Prepare maintenance and project plans for ultrapure water, bulk and specialty gases, chemical delivery, process vacuum, exhaust abatement, HVAC, and cleanroom environmental-control systems.
• Track maintenance execution, tool uptime, MTBF/MTTR, preventive-maintenance actions, and CMMS work orders.
• Coordinate internal technicians, facilities engineers, and contractors to deliver work on schedule and within budget while minimizing downtime.
• Monitor spare-parts consumption, utility usage, and contracted-service costs.
• Support tool installations, hook-ups, retrofits, facility upgrades, shutdowns, and post-maintenance equipment qualification.
• Investigate utility interruptions, process excursions, contamination and particle events, and implement corrective and preventive actions.

Requirements

• Practical expertise in semiconductor-equipment facilities maintenance across mechanical, electrical, vacuum, gas, and chemical-delivery systems.
• Knowledge of fab facilities and equipment-maintenance best practices and their integration with manufacturing, process engineering, and EHS.
• Ability to solve complex equipment and facility-system problems using tool data, alarm history, and utility trends.
• Knowledge of SEMI S2/S8 equipment safety, lockout/tagout, and EHS compliance.
• Ability to guide less-experienced technicians and facilities engineers and lead small projects or planned shutdowns.
• Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time; relocation is not available.
