Senior Family Law Attorney

Location: Seattle, Washington, US; fully remote, with required attendance at in-person hearings, mediations, and firm meetings throughout Washington.

Salary: $120,000–$220,000 annual.

What you will do

• Independently manage family law cases from initial consultation through final resolution.
• Represent clients in court hearings, mediations, settlement conferences, and negotiations.
• Develop case strategies and provide practical legal advice aligned with client objectives.
• Draft pleadings, motions, declarations, settlement agreements, parenting plans, and other family law documents.
• Conduct legal research, prepare persuasive arguments, and handle trial preparation, including discovery, witnesses, and evidentiary matters.
• Maintain client communication and collaborate with attorneys and support staff on case management and client service.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in good standing with the Washington State Bar Association.
• At least 3 years of Washington family law experience.
• Experience handling motions, mediations, negotiations, and trial preparation.
• Strong legal research, writing, analytical, advocacy, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with legal technology, case management software, and Microsoft Office; ability to work independently remotely while attending required proceedings and meetings throughout Washington.
