Salary: $133,000 - $189,000/year

What you will do

• Independently represent the insured before the court, presenting witnesses and evidence.
• Analyze complex legal issues and develop defense strategies for litigated claims.
• Prepare pleadings, motions, briefs, and written discovery.
• Handle all activities related to full trials and appeals.
• Provide timely legal advice and communication to clients and claims professionals.
• Travel to depositions, court appearances, and client meetings as required.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school required.
• Member in good standing of the Bar of the jurisdiction (CT) required.
• 7+ years of Connecticut Workers Compensation experience required.
• 15+ years of litigation experience preferred.
• Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal case management software.
