Senior Manager—Manufacturing Quality & Continuous Improvement

Location: Jefferson City, Tennessee, United States; onsite leadership of the Jefferson City manufacturing facility

Salary: $103,300.00–$177,700.00 per year across U.S. locations

What you will do

• Lead the Quality function and continuous improvement initiatives for the manufacturing facility.
• Optimize manufacturing processes using data analysis, process capability studies, root cause analysis, and corrective and preventive actions.
• Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Operations, and Quality to improve quality, reduce waste and costs, and increase productivity.
• Maintain quality systems, standard work, operating procedures, metrics, and ISO certifications.
• Oversee internal and supplier quality activities, audits, investigations, and corrective actions.
• Coach quality personnel and manage departmental budgets, staffing, performance, and resources.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Eight or more years of experience in Manufacturing, Quality, or a related field.
• Experience or technical background in weld engineering, machining, fabrication, or related manufacturing processes.
• Ability to use structured problem-solving methods and statistical techniques, including CP/CPK.
• Ability to lead cross-functional improvement projects and communicate performance through metrics and reporting.

Nice to have

• Experience with MS Windows, Word, Excel, Project, Outlook, and MAPICS/Infor XA ERP.
• Knowledge of GD&T, weld quality, and tooling.
• Project management and capital investment experience.
