Rubber Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Develop, test, and improve rubber compounds with the Rubber Engineering Team.
• Support manufacturing operations by identifying process improvements, troubleshooting production issues, and implementing sustainable solutions.
• Work directly with operators, technicians, and supervisors on the production floor to improve safety, quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Collaborate with customers, laboratories, quality teams, and suppliers during product development and launches.
• Lead or support continuous improvement projects focused on reducing waste, minimizing defects, and improving manufacturing performance.
• Establish process flows, manufacturing standards, project timelines, and data-driven engineering solutions for new products and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering required; Materials Science or a related engineering discipline may also be considered.
• Recent graduate to five years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, materials engineering, or a related field.
• Strong problem-solving and data-analysis skills, including root-cause identification.
• Willingness to spend time on the production floor and work directly with employees at all organizational levels.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, collaboration, and project-prioritization skills.
• Interest in manufacturing processes, materials development, continuous improvement, and a long-term engineering career.
