Visiting Professor Didactic with Labs (Nursing)

Location: San Antonio, Texas, United States; campus-based teaching, laboratory instruction, and clinical supervision.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on education and experience.

What you will do

• Teach didactic, laboratory, and clinical nursing content in alignment with the curriculum, course objectives, and program outcomes.
• Plan clinical experiences and directly supervise and evaluate students providing nursing care.
• Provide documented performance feedback, remediation, and timely assessment of assignments and written work.
• Maintain current knowledge of agency and clinical policies, procedures, and expectations.
• Collaborate with course coordinators, faculty, administration, clinical agencies, and community partners to improve programs and student satisfaction.
• Support campus assessment, retention initiatives, regulatory compliance, and professional standards.

Requirements

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
• Unencumbered professional nursing license in Texas.
• At least two years of professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
• Genuine interest in nursing, education, and lifelong learning.
• Strong subject-matter expertise and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Commitment to serving students and colleagues with responsibility, respect, and care.
