Location: Wilmington, Delaware, USA. Onsite teaching in a clinical setting with clinical partners, typically through 12-hour rotations from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. for three to four consecutive days.

Compensation: $1,120–$7,245 per assignment, depending on the credit hours assigned to the course.

What you will do

  • Teach Complex Adult Health/Critical Care clinical content in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
  • Plan clinical experiences and provide direct supervision of nursing students delivering patient care.
  • Evaluate student performance against course objectives and provide documented feedback.
  • Prepare clinical assignments aligned with students’ knowledge, competencies, and learning needs.
  • Grade assignments and written work, and provide remediation when required.
  • Coordinate with clinical agencies and course leadership on policies, student progress, and issues.

Requirements

  • Unencumbered professional nursing license in Delaware required.
  • Illinois RN license required to teach all courses; assignments are prioritized for professors currently licensed in Illinois.
  • Master’s or doctoral degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university.
  • At least two years of recent professional registered-nurse experience within the last five years in the area of instruction.
  • Subject matter expertise and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Passion for nursing education, lifelong learning, and supporting students and colleagues.

  • Teaching or precepting experience.
