Mechanic - ES 542 (Diesel Mechanic)

Location: Aston, Pennsylvania, United States; on-site and on-road repairs are required.

What you will do

• Repair and maintain vehicles and equipment supporting Industrial Services sites.
• Complete maintenance orders efficiently, including brake, rotor, alignment, tire, and related repairs.
• Inspect truck safety devices, protective guards, bolts, and other components, making adjustments as needed.
• Use grinders, compressors, jacks, hand tools, wheel and tire equipment, alignment systems, and diagnostic equipment.
• Perform shop, on-site, and on-road repairs; review driver inspection reports and sign off on completed repairs.
• Follow DOT regulations, company safety procedures, PPE requirements, and management assignments.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of hands-on diesel mechanic experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required; CDL Class A or B with tanker endorsement preferred.
• Knowledge of shop equipment, vehicle diagnostics, wheel and tire systems, and alignment systems preferred.
• Ability to lift or move 75 pounds repeatedly and work independently in fast-paced, high-stress situations.
• Flexible schedule and availability for weekend or as-needed on-call work.
• Must pass background screening, company auto insurance qualification, OSHA HAZWOPER 40-hour training, and obtain TWIC clearance within 45 days if required by the division.
