Shop Mechanic II (Heavy Equipment)

Location: Lakeville, Minnesota, United States; onsite shop-based role

Salary: $27.00–$35.50 USD per hour

What you will do

• Inspect, repair, and maintain vehicles and construction equipment.
• Lead electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair work.
• Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify viable repair solutions.
• Work independently and collaborate with teammates in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain effective communication, attention to detail, and problem-solving standards.

Requirements

• 2–5+ years of experience working on pickup trucks, heavy trucks, construction or utility equipment, and trailers; Ford experience is preferred.
• Experience with aerial equipment and DOT inspections.
• Basic computer proficiency and the ability to provide basic hand tools.
• Valid driver license for the vehicle types operated and an acceptable driving record.
• CDL Class A and a valid Federal Medical Card are desired.
• Diesel mechanic program completion, Master ASE Credits, and forklift experience are desired; forklift training is provided.
