What you will do
- Provide senior-level surge capacity for Science and Technology program management and financial analysis under the direction of the Government Business Financial Manager.
- Support planning and execution of S&T initiatives, special studies, and multidisciplinary team coordination.
- Act as a technical liaison with PEOs, SYSCOMs, OSD, and other stakeholders.
- Conduct financial analysis, maintain fiscal metrics, and support budgeting and S&T fiscal submissions through the POM process.
- Provide administrative and analytical support, including SOP development, audit-readiness evaluation, and tracking of data calls and correspondence.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Public Policy, or a related field and at least 10 years of recent DoD or DON experience in program management, financial analysis, or management consulting.
- Alternatively, a high school diploma or equivalent with at least 15 years of recent relevant DoD or DON experience may substitute for the degree.
- Experience with the DoD/DON budget cycle, including POM development, and familiarity with federal financial regulations such as FMR and FMPM.
- Ability to analyze complex information, identify core problems, evaluate solutions, and make data-driven recommendations.
- Experience liaising with senior military, government, and civilian personnel and preparing briefs, reports, and official correspondence for senior leadership.
Nice to have
- Direct experience supporting ONR, the Naval Research Enterprise, or a similar Science and Technology organization.
- Proficiency with Navy ERP or a similar financial management system.
- Experience with Microsoft Power Apps.
