Location: On-site at the U.S. Department of Energy Idaho Operations Office in Idaho Falls, Idaho, United States; work is generally located across the United States Mountain West region.

What you will do

  • Provide program and project management support for Federal Energy and Nuclear Sector clients.
  • Track project status, costs, budgets, schedules, and compliance with Department of Energy guidelines.
  • Gather and analyze data and prepare reports to support operational and strategic decisions.
  • Evaluate performance metrics, improve controls, and advise leadership.
  • Support portfolio-level decisions and strategic planning.

Requirements

  • U.S. citizenship is required.
  • On-site client-site work in Idaho is required.
  • At least 7 years of senior program analysis experience, or a bachelor's degree with 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, project management, finance, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred. Equivalent paths include an associate's degree with 5 years of relevant experience or 7 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of project management principles, federal budgeting concepts, analytical methods, and Microsoft Office tools including Excel and Project.
  • Strong written and oral communication, leadership, organizational, prioritization, and time-management skills.

Nice to have

  • Federal Energy and Nuclear Sector experience.
  • Advanced analytics and briefing development experience.
  • Experience with financial consulting, acquisition and grants management support, or business program and project management.
  • Master's degree in a relevant field.
