Senior Project Manager - Structural

What you will do

• Manage structural projects from conceptual design through final design and delivery.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, consultants, agencies, and stakeholders.
• Oversee construction-phase services, including site visits, shop drawing reviews, and RFI responses.
• Establish project schedules, budgets, design approaches, scopes of work, and fee structures.
• Supervise and mentor engineering and support staff while providing final review of critical deliverables.
• Lead client communications, contract negotiations, proposals, business development, and strategic growth initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
• At least 15 years of progressive experience in structural design, analysis, and project management.
• Experience leading large, complex projects in land development or public works, including bridges, water and wastewater facilities, or specialty structures.
• Advanced proficiency with structural analysis software such as RISA, STAAD, and/or MIDAS.
• Strong leadership, coordination, client management, quality assurance, financial management, and business development skills.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of MicroStation.
• PMP and/or Envision certification.
