Security, Cloud and Infrastructure Architecture Product Owner

Location: Durham, NC, USA; hybrid with 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

Salary: $131,300–$263,900 for Zone C, $144,400–$290,300 for Zone B, or $157,600–$316,700 for Zone A annually, plus eligibility for incentive plans.

What you will do

• Shape the enterprise technology vision, architecture roadmap, and long-term infrastructure strategy.
• Translate business requirements into scalable architectures covering data flows, security, integrations, and platform capabilities.
• Define architecture quality metrics, performance benchmarks, and operational standards.
• Lead resilience, disaster recovery, and business continuity architecture for critical services.
• Drive cloud, security, and infrastructure transformation, proof of concepts, automation, and continuous improvement.
• Provide architecture governance, vendor and technology strategy, solution delivery guidance, executive advisory, and talent development.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in infrastructure architecture, systems engineering, cloud architecture, or related enterprise technology roles.
• 5+ years designing, implementing, and governing enterprise cloud platforms, including Infrastructure as Code, automation, and cloud-native technologies.
• 5+ years leading large-scale public, private, and hybrid cloud initiatives from strategy and design through deployment and operations.
• Hands-on experience with AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform, or equivalent providers, plus deep knowledge of compute, storage, networking, virtualization, operating systems, recovery, monitoring, and databases.
• Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks, governance, modernization strategies, cybersecurity, compliance, privacy, risk management, Zero Trust, and NIST principles.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience; experience managing technical teams or strategic vendors.
