Cross-Cloud Architect

Location: 100% remote within the United States

Salary: $175,000–$200,000 annually

What you will do

• Design multi-cloud strategies, reference architectures, and platform capabilities across AWS, Azure, GCP, and selectively OCI.
• Build portability layers, cloud abstractions, federated identity solutions, and cross-cloud networking architectures.
• Develop platform offerings that hide cloud-specific complexity from product teams.
• Lead multi-cloud architecture initiatives and communicate trade-offs between portability and cloud-native capabilities.
• Support cloud-to-cloud migration and architecture decisions for enterprise environments.

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States as a U.S. citizen, Green Card holder, EAD holder, or H-1B transfer candidate.
• New H-1B visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• At least eight years of cloud architecture experience and hands-on work with at least two major cloud providers.
• Deep knowledge of multi-cloud networking, identity, security, infrastructure-as-code, and policy-as-code.
• Experience with federated identity and SSO, Kubernetes, container platforms, managed cloud services, stakeholder management, and multi-cloud certifications.

Nice to have

• Experience with Crossplane, Pulumi, or Terraform CDK.
• Familiarity with cloud-agnostic observability platforms.
• Experience with large-scale cloud-to-cloud migrations or regulated-industry multi-cloud mandates.
• Public talks or writing on multi-cloud architecture.
