Product Architect - Platform Engineering (Cybersecurity)

What you will do

• Define and maintain reference architectures for cloud platforms, enterprise applications, and data platforms.
• Guide platform design decisions to improve scalability, reliability, performance, maintainability, and flexibility.
• Define architecture patterns for CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, DevSecOps, and standardized engineering workflows.
• Translate enterprise architecture standards into practical platform design patterns and align solutions with the Solution Delivery Lifecycle.
• Partner with product architects, cybersecurity teams, and engineering leaders on governance, design reviews, roadmaps, and complex architectural challenges.
• Drive platform modernization, resilience, secure engineering adoption, and improved delivery and operational maturity.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in security architecture, enterprise architecture, or platform engineering.
• Experience designing secure architectures across cloud, infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.
• Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including identity, network security, encryption, and data protection.
• Experience with DevSecOps, secure software development, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, DNS security, SIEM systems, Cisco, and Palo Alto technologies.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain required U.S. government authorizations.

Nice to have

• Experience in aerospace, defense, government, or other regulated industries.
• Familiarity with NIST, Zero Trust Architecture, CMMC, NIST 800-171, ITAR, and DFARS.
• Experience integrating security controls into engineering platforms and pipelines.
• Experience with AWS Transit Gateway, Azure vWAN, Direct Connect, ExpressRoute, cloud VPNs, VPCs, VNETs, WAFs, routing, load balancing, and DNS services.
