Support Services Technician (Environmental Testing)

Location: Folsom, California, United States; onsite laboratory role

Salary: $19–$20 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

What you will do

• Clean and prepare sample media for environmental testing.
• Package and ship media to clients using shipping-provider websites.
• Build and repair flow controllers.
• Assemble and dismantle shipping boxes and process orders in internal LIMS.
• Handle and transport bulk chemicals, including liquid nitrogen, compressed gases, and liquid solvents, in accordance with laboratory safety procedures.
• Coordinate with multiple departments and perform additional support duties as needed.

Requirements

• Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or order processing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office.
• Ability to follow SOPs, safety protocols, and quality-control procedures.
• Professional working proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
• Authorization to work in the United States indefinitely without restriction or sponsorship.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds continuously, push carts carrying up to 50 pounds, stand for prolonged periods, and perform repetitive physical work.
