Location: Amesbury, Massachusetts, United States; onsite. U.S. citizenship is required due to U.S. government contract regulations, with eligibility for a DoD security clearance.

Salary: $120,000–$175,000 per year.

What you will do

  • Partner with plant leadership to execute site financial strategy and achieve financial and operational goals.
  • Manage the monthly close, analyze financial results, and present performance insights to management.
  • Develop monthly, quarterly, and annual forecasts with business leaders.
  • Maintain cost-accounting systems for product costing, profitability analysis, and forward pricing.
  • Track labor and material variances, support audits and DCMA/DCAA requests, and participate in customer reviews.
  • Supervise clerical finance staff, validate capital project proposals, and promote a safe, professional work environment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least five years of progressive finance experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and government cost accounting standards.
  • Experience with government or defense contracting and related pricing methods.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and excellent communication abilities.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a DoD security clearance are required.
