Mainframe Developer (AI/GenAI)

Location: Alpharetta, Georgia or Berkeley Heights, New Jersey; 5 days onsite

What you will do

• Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain IBM mainframe batch and online applications.
• Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM, and JCL.
• Create and maintain batch jobs, procedures, and utilities.
• Troubleshoot production issues, resolve application defects, and support deployments.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, DB2, VSAM, and CICS.
• Experience with application development, enhancement, and production support.
• Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and release processes.
• Experience with IBM mainframe environments, including z/OS and TSO/ISPF.
• Ability to work onsite five days per week in Alpharetta, GA, or Berkeley Heights, NJ.
