What you will do

• Manage DPS Core Clearing and Settlement systems and batch applications on IBM z/OS390.
• Oversee 2nd and 3rd level incident resolution in production and development environments.
• Direct new client implementations and support software maintenance releases.
• Design and implement automation solutions to streamline mainframe operations.
• Coordinate disaster recovery planning and monitor system performance metrics.
• Mentor team members and drive strategic initiatives for infrastructure reliability.

Requirements

• 12-15 years of experience with IBM z/OS390, specifically Connex Advantage (required).
• 12-15 years of experience in COBOL/JCL (required).
• 12-15 years of knowledge in EFT settlement and transaction processing (required).
• 12-15 years of experience using FILE-AID (required).
• Experience with scheduling software (ESP, Control-M, CA7) and transmission methods (FTP/SSL/SSH, NDM).
• Must be based in the US (Denver, CO) for hybrid work.

Nice to have

• Hands-on knowledge of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Models (LLM) for mainframe modernization.
• Experience with REXX or ISPF Dialog Manager.
• Configuration automation experience.
