Training Coordinator / Instructional Designer (GEOINT)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and implement training programs aligned with customer mission objectives.
• Create instructor-led courses, virtual instructor-led training, eLearning modules, job aids, and user documentation.
• Conduct training needs analyses, define measurable learning objectives, and collaborate with engineers, Product Managers, scrum teams, stakeholders, and subject matter experts.
• Coordinate training schedules, logistics, resources, and delivery for in-person and virtual sessions, including CONUS and OCONUS courses.
• Evaluate engagement, completion, knowledge retention, and training effectiveness through assessments and performance metrics.
• Recommend learning management systems, virtual training platforms, and instructional technologies while supporting train-the-trainer programs.

Requirements

• Instructional design methodology, adult learning principles, needs analysis, learning objective definition, and training effectiveness assessment.
• Experience developing eLearning content with Adobe Captivate or similar tools.
• Experience administering learning management systems and using Zoom, WebEx, or Microsoft Teams.
• Experience developing and delivering instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training.
• Familiarity with GEOINT systems such as ArcGIS or Google Earth and their use in technical mission environments.
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance, ability to pass a CI Polygraph examination, and US citizenship are required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of geospatial data analysis and mapping technologies.
• Experience working in Agile development environments and applying Agile methods to training development.
• Experience with Confluence, Jira, Microsoft PowerPoint, or Microsoft Project.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and engaging senior stakeholders and subject matter experts.
• Master’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Training and Development, or a related field.
